GJB150.14A-2009 Environmental Test Methods for Military Equipment Laboratories Part 14: Immersion Test
The test of immersing military equipment test samples in water. The purpose of the experiment is to determine the ability of military equipment to prevent water from seeping into the shell when immersed in water. The test conditions clearly stipulate that the water temperature in the test water tank should be maintained between 8-28 ℃, and the temperature change during the entire test period should not exceed 3 ℃. The temperature of the test sample should be controlled above the water temperature by (27 ± 2) ℃, and the immersion duration should be (120 ± 5) minutes. The immersion depth should be 1m from the highest point of the test sample in water or as specified in relevant technical documents. The experimental procedure specifies the pre-treatment, initial detection, testing, retrieval and recovery, and final inspection of the test samples, and determines whether they are qualified according to relevant standards or technical documents.
