Lubricating oil foam characteristic testerBy simulating the actual working conditions, accurately controlling the temperature and ventilation parameters, evaluate the foam generation ability and stability of lubricating oil at high or normal temperature. The following are the core principles:

temperature control

The instrument adoptsPID digital temperature controller or constant temperature bath, heat the lubricating oil sample to the standard temperature (such as 49 ℃± 0.5 ℃ or 150 ℃), and test after 30 minutes of constant temperature to ensure that the temperature fluctuation is ≤± 0.5 ℃. ‌

Foam generation

Fixed flow rate through gas diffusion head(94 mL/min ± 5 mL/min), inject dry air into the sample, and continue for 5 minutes to induce the formation of foam. The diffuser design ensures uniform bubble size and simulates the foam generation state under mechanical agitation. ‌

Quantitative evaluation of foam

Foam Tendency: Record the maximum foam volume (such as static foam volume or dynamic foam volume) during ventilation to reflect the foaming ability of oil products. ‌

foam stability: After stopping ventilation, measure the volume of residual foam for 1 minute and 10 minutes respectively, and evaluate the dissipation rate of foam. ‌
