High definition industrial microscopes are suitable for deep analysis of complex materials
Date: 2025-09-17Read: 1
High definition industrial microscopes are mostly based on the refractive and reflective properties of light. Its core is a set of precision designed lens systems, including a combination of objective and eyepiece lenses. When light shines on the observed object, it is first magnified by the objective lens to form a real image, and then further magnified by the eyepiece. This multi-level magnification method ensures that small details can be clearly presented.
Modern equipment is often equipped with CCD or CMOS sensors, which convert optical signals into electrical signals for digital processing. The high-energy electron beam emitted by the electron gun penetrates the surface of the sample, compensates for aberrations by dynamically adjusting the electromagnetic field intensity, and completes multi area automatic scanning and 3D reconstruction with an electric stage. It is suitable for deep analysis of complex materials.
Measurement steps of high-definition industrial microscope:
1. Preparation work
-Equipment inspection and cleaning: Ensure that all components of the microscope are functioning properly, and that the optical system (lens, eyepiece, etc.) is free of dust or stains; Adjust the lighting system to provide uniform and sufficient light. Prepare the sample according to the observation requirements and fix it on the stage.
-Install and connect auxiliary equipment: If necessary, install the camera, light source, and other components, and connect the relevant equipment, such as connecting the microscope to the computer for image acquisition and analysis.
2. Sample placement: Place the sample on the stage and use the moving device of the stage to move the sample to the center of the field of view. Pay attention to the glass slide facing upwards, fix it with a pressure clamp, and ensure that the observation area is aligned with the center of the light hole. When moving the stage, it is important to note that the direction of the slide movement is opposite to the direction of the object image movement in the eyepiece.
3. Coarse focusing: Rotate the coarse focusing knob to move the lens barrel or stage up and down, roughly finding the clear imaging position of the sample.
4. Calibration (if measurement function is involved)
-Cleaning preparation: Clean the lens and stage to avoid impurities affecting calibration.
-Place standard parts: Place the standard measuring block in the center of the stage and adjust the microscope to achieve clear imaging.
-Software calibration: Select the "Calibration" function in the software, click on the scale lines at both ends of the measuring block according to the prompts, and the system will automatically record the deviation between the actual size and the measured value and make corrections. When replacing different objective lens magnifications, it is necessary to calibrate them separately to ensure consistent accuracy at each magnification.
5. Observation and measurement
-Low magnification initial observation: Rotate the converter to make the low magnification objective lens (such as 4x or 10x) vertically downward, slowly adjust the coarse focus screw to raise the stage to about 0.5cm from the glass slide, and first perform preliminary observation and positioning.
-Automatic measurement (high-precision method): Capture the complete image of the circular contour of the part through the high-definition camera of the microscope, transmit it to the computer, and the software automatically recognizes the contour boundary through "edge detection algorithms" (such as Canny algorithm, Sobel algorithm), eliminating the interference of image noise (such as reflections and impurities) on the contour; Subsequently, the software automatically extracts hundreds or even thousands of points on the contour to calculate parameters such as size.
