As the core equipment for material mechanics testing, hydraulic electronic universal testing machine is widely used for testing the tensile, compressive, bending and other properties of metal, non-metal and other materials. Its detection accuracy directly affects product quality evaluation, and scientific daily maintenance is the key to ensuring equipment stability and extending service life. This article summarizes the core maintenance points and common problem solutions based on the structural characteristics of the equipment.
The hydraulic system is the power core of the equipment, and maintenance should focus on oil management and sealing protection. Oil contamination is the main cause of servo valve jamming and cylinder wear. The cleanliness of the oil should be checked every 3 months, and when the NAS level exceeds level 8, the anti-wear hydraulic oil should be replaced in a timely manner. Before changing the oil, it is necessary to rinse the oil tank with a special cleaning agent, and when refueling, it must be filtered through a 10 μ m precision oil filter. At the same time, check the status of the seals every week. If oil film or joint leakage is found on the piston rod, the corresponding type of seal ring should be replaced immediately to avoid pressure instability caused by hydraulic oil leakage.
The maintenance focus of electronic control systems is on sensors and wiring terminals. The force sensor is the core component for detecting accuracy, and the surface of the strain gauge needs to be cleaned with anhydrous ethanol every month to prevent dust accumulation from affecting signal transmission. Regularly send the measurement institution for calibration every year to ensure that the force value error is within ± 0.5%. The wiring terminals are prone to loosening due to vibration. The cable joints between the host and the control cabinet should be checked every two weeks and tightened with a torque wrench according to the specified torque to avoid poor contact and data fluctuations. In addition, it is necessary to maintain good ventilation in the control cabinet and clean the cooling fan filter every month to prevent components from aging due to high temperature.
The maintenance of mechanical structures should take into account both wear protection and accuracy maintenance. As a component that directly contacts the sample, the clamp head should be cleaned of residual sample debris after each use, and anti rust oil should be regularly applied to the clamping surface. When the wear of the chuck tooth surface causes the sample to slip, it is necessary to grind, repair or replace it in a timely manner. The guide rail and ball screw are key to ensuring displacement accuracy. Lithium based grease should be added to the guide rail lubrication point every week, and the pre tightening force of the screw should be checked every six months. If the positioning error exceeds the standard, the nut clearance needs to be adjusted with professional tools.
The common problem of "abnormal fluctuation of loading force" in equipment use is often caused by bubbles mixed in the oil or loose sensor wiring. You can first open the exhaust valve to eliminate the system bubbles. If the problem is not solved, check the sensor circuit. And 'displacement display unresponsive' is usually caused by contamination of the grating ruler, which can be restored by cleaning the grating ruler reading head.
In summary, the maintenance of the hydraulic electronic universal testing machine requires the establishment of a "regular inspection, on-demand maintenance" system. Through oil management of the hydraulic system, precision calibration of the electronic system, and wear protection of the mechanical structure, the equipment failure rate can be effectively reduced to ensure its long-term stable testing performance.
