What verification is required for VOC multifunctional gas automatic sampler
Date: 2025-07-10Read: 0
The VOC multifunctional gas automatic sampler is mainly used for automatic sampling and analysis of the concentration of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). In order to ensure its accuracy and reliability during use, some validation and testing must be conducted. The following are the verification contents that need to be carried out:
1. Sampling accuracy verification
Quantitative sampling verification: Verify whether the automatic sampler can accurately sample according to the set program and ensure that the sampling volume meets the standard requirements.
Repeatability verification: Conduct multiple samplings under the same conditions to check if the sampler can provide consistent results. Usually, it is required that the repeatability error should not exceed ± 5%.
2. Gas flow verification
Flow calibration: Verify whether the gas flow rate of the sampler meets the specified range to ensure stable sampling airflow.
Traffic stability test: Verify whether the traffic can be maintained stably under different operating conditions. The impact of changes in temperature and humidity on flow rate.
3. Sensor performance verification
Sensitivity verification: Verify the sensitivity of VOC sensors to different concentrations to ensure accurate response to low concentrations of VOCs.
Linear range validation: Check the linear response of the sensor in different concentration ranges to ensure that it exhibits accurate linear relationships within the concentration range in use.
Response time verification: Ensure that the sensor can respond within the specified time, usually between a few seconds and tens of seconds, depending on the type of sensor.
4. System stability verification
Long term stability testing: After continuous operation for a period of time, check the stability of the equipment, including measurement drift, sensor failure, etc.
Temperature and humidity adaptability verification: Verify the performance of the equipment under different temperature and humidity conditions to ensure that it can still work normally in extreme environments.
5. Automated Function Verification
Automatic sampling and injection validation: Ensure that the equipment can automatically complete sampling and injection according to the program, and accurately transmit the results to the analysis system.
Data processing verification: Verify the data display, storage, and output functions of the device to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the data.
6. System alarm and security function verification
Alarm system verification: Check whether the system can issue an alarm in a timely manner when the VOC concentration is abnormal. Verify the accuracy and timeliness of the alarm.
Security verification: Ensure that the equipment does not pose any danger during sampling and processing, and has necessary safety measures such as overload protection and automatic shutdown.
7. Standard gas calibration verification
Standard gas verification: Use a known concentration of standard gas for calibration to verify whether the automatic sampler can accurately measure and be consistent with the standard value.
Zero and span calibration: Verify the settings of zero and span to ensure that the equipment can maintain accurate calibration during use.
8. Verification of battery performance and power management
Battery life verification: Testing the charging and discharging performance of the battery to ensure that it can continuously provide power to the device, typically requiring continuous operation for more than 12 hours.
Verification of power alarm system: Ensure that the system can promptly issue an alarm and prompt the user to charge when the power is low.
Certification verification: Verify whether the device has passed the necessary international certifications, such as CE, UL certification, etc.
These verification steps help ensure that the VOC multifunctional gas automatic sampler provides accurate, stable, and reliable measurement results in practical use, meeting safety and quality requirements.
