Backfat analyzerIt is an instrument that uses the principle of ultrasound to measure the thickness of animal backfat, mainly used for the breeding and management of economic animals such as pigs, cows, and sheep. It can quickly, non invasively, and accurately obtain backfat data, providing scientific basis for precision breeding. Mainly used in animal husbandry, it can measure the backfat thickness of pigs, cows, horses and other animals, helping farmers evaluate the growth status, nutritional level and meat quality of animals, in order to develop reasonable feeding management and breeding plans.
Backfat analyzerIt is mainly divided into two types: A-scan and B-ultrasound:
A Super: A single crystal receives sound waves, reflects the echo situation through amplitude changes, and displays the measurement results digitally. Suitable for fast point estimation, but with limited image information.
B-ultrasound: Polycrystalline reception of sound waves, real-time grayscale ultrasound images reflecting echo conditions, and regional estimation can be performed. The image is intuitive and easy to analyze organizational structure, and its application is becoming increasingly widespread.
Usage:
1. Charging: It takes about 12 hours to charge before use, and the charging time after use should be at least three times the usage time.
2. Apply coupling agent: Before measurement, apply a layer of clear oil (such as paraffin oil or engine oil) or specialized coupling agent on the animal's skin to ensure good contact between the probe and the animal's skin, allowing ultrasound to enter the animal's body smoothly.
3. Place the probe: Open the backfat analyzer, gently place the probe at the measurement point, slowly move the probe to squeeze out air bubbles, and keep the probe perpendicular to the measurement surface to avoid measurement errors caused by angle deviation.
4. Data reading: If the measurement method is correct, the display screen will show the complete electronic reading; If it is not displayed, it may be due to poor contact. It is necessary to add coupling agent and ensure that the probe is vertical and horizontal.
