By measuring the viscous resistance (torque) and rotational speed experienced by the rotor when rotating in the fluid, combined with the linear relationship between Newtonian fluid shear stress and shear rate, the viscosity of the liquid is calculated. It can be widely used for measuring the viscosity of various fluids such as oils, paints, plastics, drugs, food, coatings, detergents, etc., and is used in scientific research experiments, quality control, production monitoring and other fields.
  Digital rotational viscometerIt is usually composed of a host, rotor, bracket, measuring container, and other parts. The host includes a motor, transmission system, torque sensor, and digital display device, etc; The rotor is a component that comes into direct contact with the measured liquid; The bracket is used to support the host and fix the rotor; The measuring container is used to hold the measured liquid.
Before use, it is necessary to check the appearance and power connection of the instrument, correctly install the rotor and protective frame, select the appropriate rotor according to the viscosity range of the liquid to be tested, and pour the liquid into a clean container to ensure that the liquid volume is sufficient to submerge the rotor and there are no bubbles. After starting the instrument, adjust the zero and slowly immerse the rotor in the liquid to avoid contact with the container wall or bottom. Start measuring after the instrument is stable, keep the instrument level and the rotor rotating steadily, and record the results after the values are stable. After the measurement is completed, turn off the power, remove the rotor for cleaning and drying, and clean the measurement container.
