• Panel operation keys and their functions:There are four keys on the panel, which are:

【 0n/Off 】 - Power switch: Function: Control the instrument to turn on and off;

[Sample] - Sampling detection: Function: 1) Measurement 2) Confirmation;

▲ and ▼ - Up and down keys: Function: 1) Verify 2) Adjust numbers.

• Power on and off

1. Power on: Press 【 0n/Off 】 once, the instrument displays a flashing "-. - --", and after a few seconds, it displays "0.000".
2. Shutdown: In the power on state, if no operation is performed, it will automatically shut down after a few minutes.

In the power on state, hold down 【 0n/Off 】 for 2-3 seconds, display 'Off', and then hear a 'click' to turn off the device.

• measurement

1. Formaldehyde measurement
   1. Press the [0n/Off] button to turn on the device, wait for the instrument to display "0.000", then press the [Sample] button to quickly display "run" and hear the sound of the air pump pumping. The instrument enters the sampling and measurement state, alternately displaying "0.000" and "-. - --". After about 60 seconds, a stable data is displayed, which is the formaldehyde concentration in ppm.
   2. At this point, hold down [▲] to display "Alt=" first, and the value displayed later will be converted to mg/m³ofFormaldehyde concentration.
2. Measurement of temperature and humidity

In the shutdown state, first press and hold the 【 Sample 】 key, then press the 【 0n/Off 】 key, and then release it. The instrument briefly displays "HEAT", then displays a data, followed by the display“⁰C”, which is the current temperature value; Then display a data, followed by '% rH', which is the current relative humidity value.

If not turned off, the above display will continue to alternate until the instrument automatically shuts down.

• verify

1. Place the instrument and formaldehyde calibration tube at a minimum of 15⁰C， Not greater than 28⁰C， Balance for 1 hour in an environment with slow air flow rate.
2. Press [0n/Off] to turn on the device, wait for the display of "0.000", then remove the yellow plugs on both ends of the formaldehyde calibration tube, and insert the sample inlet at the front end of the instrument into the hole with a black circle on the calibration tube, keeping it in close contact.
3. Simultaneously press [▲] [▼], the instrument will first display "CAL" and hear the pumping sound, then a flashing continuously increasing value will appear. After stabilization, it will alternately display "1.75" and "SET".
4. Insert the small plugs at both ends of the verification tube, note: only hold the yellow caps on both ends of the tube with your hands and do not touch the middle part.
5. Compare the value corresponding to the current temperature on the calibration tube, adjust the instrument display value to the same value by pressing 【 ▲ 】 or 【 ▼ 】, and then confirm by pressing 【 Sample 】. You can hear a 'click' and it will automatically shut down.
