Operation method of homogenizer

1、 Introduction to the purpose of homogenizer

A homogenizer is a machine that disperses and grinds animal and plant tissues into a uniform paste. The homogenizer is widely used for homogenizing animal tissues, biological samples, food, medicine, cosmetics, agricultural products, solid, semi-solid, and non water soluble samples, and can homogenize 20ml~250ml.

2、 Characteristics of homogenizer:

1. Adopting an internal suction homogenizer structure with high speed. Capable of homogenizing, emulsifying, and extracting trace amounts of organic compounds, lipophilic substances, and soluble substances in organic solvents between two immiscible liquids.

2. It can achieve homogenization and mixing of various animal and plant tissues.

3. It can cause cell membrane rupture until nuclear separation, and can break DNA chains at different speeds, or break large molecules into small molecules.

4. Can be used as a mixer at low speeds.

3、 Operation method of homogenizer:

1. The instrument is placed on a horizontal workbench, and the required homogenizing tool must be installed in place (using an internal hexagonal wrench). When connecting the power to test the machine, first use a cup or vessel filled with water to submerge the plum blossom blade in the water. Turn on the power switch, adjust the speed knob slowly to quickly, and there should be no obvious metal friction sound (if there is a metal friction sound, turn off the switch, loosen the support tool 6m/m, tighten the gong nail, and randomly rotate the outer fixing sleeve upwards to install it in place, and then tighten it). Work can only begin after completion.
2. Cut the plants or organisms that need to be tested into small pieces or pieces, place them in a randomly equipped glass container, clamp them in the middle of a magnetic bracket (seven shaped), loosen the fixed motor base 8m/m support pin, slowly align it with the mouth of the container and move it downwards, so that the homogenizer head is 2-3m/m from the bottom of the container, and then tighten the 8m/m pin. The working time of each experiment should not exceed 5 minutes.

4、 Maintenance and upkeep of homogenizer:

After each work is completed, remove the cutting tools and rinse them with clean water to dry. Cleaning method: First, insert the dispersing head into the polyvinyl fluoride. At this time, the dispersing head step exceeds the sleeve length by 0.2 millimeters. If you find that the sleeve is too long, you can use a scraper to press the small end of the small head to the size. Then, use your hand to press the polyvinyl fluoride sleeve into the fixed head, and insert the dispersing head into the sleeve. At this time, the dispersing head must be able to rotate freely in the sleeve. If the sleeve is tight, you can use a φ 5 drill bit to insert it into the sleeve and pull it. After pulling, insert the dispersing head into the sleeve and tighten it with the small shaft. Finally, tighten the fixed sleeve and the fixing head.
