The flowmeter is mainly composed of a conical glass tube that expands from bottom to top and a float that moves up and down with the flow rate of the fluid. When the fluid flows through the conical tube from bottom to top, the lift S generated by the kinetic energy of the fluid on the float and the buoyancy A of the fluid cause the float to rise. When the sum of the lift S and buoyancy A is equal to the weight G of the float itself, the float is in equilibrium and stable at a certain height position. The scale on the conical tube indicates the flow rate value of the fluid.
Glass rotor flowmeterIt is a variable area flowmeter widely used in various departments such as chemical, light industry, medicine, food, environmental protection, and teaching and research.
Features:
The same connection method has a uniform height dimension regardless of the caliber size
Capable of withstanding high temperatures and pressures
Safe metal casing with good safety
High measurement accuracy and good interchangeability
Diverse connection methods
Lightweight structure, small size, easy installation
Beautiful appearance and easy maintenance
Installation steps:
Check the equipment: Confirm that there are no cracks in the glass tube, the rotor can move freely, and remove the shock-absorbing top rod.
Vertical installation: The angle between the centerline of the flowmeter and the plumb line should be less than 2 ° to avoid vibration and strong magnetic fields.
Connecting pipeline:
Threaded connection: Use a wrench to tighten the joint and wrap the raw material tape to prevent leakage.
Flange connection: Align the pipeline flange and secure it with bolts.
Zero calibration: Slowly open the valve, adjust the flow rate with the downstream valve, and wait for the rotor to stabilize before reading.
Notes:
Environmental requirements: Temperature -25~60 ℃, away from heat sources and corrosive gases.
Maintenance: Regularly clean the glass tube to avoid rotor jamming; When there is a leak, first reduce the pressure and then tighten the sealing gland.
Selection: When the medium contains impurities, a magnetic filter needs to be installed.
