Textile moisture regain meterThe operation is simple, the testing is accurate, and it can display data such as moisture value, sample initial value, final value, measurement time, temperature initial value, and temperature final value. Mainly used in the textile industry, such as testing cotton, yarn, fabric samples, cashmere, silk, chemical fibers and other samples.
Textile moisture regain meterUsually, the following two main techniques are used:
1. Drying method (thermogravimetric method)
By heating the sample to evaporate moisture, measure the mass change of the sample before and after heating, and calculate the moisture content.
Advantages: Accurate measurement and reliable results.
Disadvantages: The measurement time is relatively long (usually taking several minutes to ten minutes), which may cause some damage to the sample.
2. Resistance method (capacitance method/high-frequency method)
Utilize the influence of moisture on the electrical properties of materials, such as resistance and capacitance, to quickly measure moisture content through sensors.
Advantages: Fast measurement speed (usually completed within a few seconds), non-destructive measurement.
Disadvantage: Due to factors such as material density and temperature, the accuracy is relatively low.
Usage and maintenance matters:
1. Calibration: Regularly calibrate instruments to ensure measurement accuracy.
2. Sample preparation: Ensure that the sample is uniform before measurement to avoid errors caused by uneven samples.
3. Environmental conditions: Measure in a constant temperature and humidity environment to reduce the influence of environmental factors on the results.
4. Maintenance: Regularly clean the instrument to maintain sensor sensitivity.
