Automatic water quality samplingceremonyIt is an intelligent environmental monitoring device used to automatically collect water samples and save them under preset time, flow rate, or specific triggering conditions. It is widely used in scenarios such as rivers, lakes, reservoirs, sewage outlets, sewage treatment plants, and drinking water sources. It is an important technical support for water environment monitoring, pollution tracing, and water quality standard assessment.
This instrument usually consists of a sampling pump, a sampling device, a refrigeration system (4 ℃ constant temperature), a control unit, a sample bottle group, and a communication module. According to different sampling modes, it can be divided into various methods such as time proportional sampling, flow proportional sampling, remote command sampling, and over limit trigger sampling. For example, during the rainstorm, the sampling frequency can be dynamically adjusted according to the flow change to accurately capture the pollution peak; In the event of a sudden pollution incident, remote command can be used to immediately initiate sampling, providing first-hand evidence for emergency response.
Automatic water quality samplerUsage method:
1、 Installation and Connection
Equipment installation
Install the bracket and support rod according to the instructions at outdoor water collection points (such as rivers and sewage outlets) to ensure stability.
Fix the sampling motor on the support rod and adjust its position according to the height of the water surface. Note that the part below the motor disc can be submerged in water, but the motor as a whole cannot be completely submerged.
Pipeline connection
Connect one end of the sampling water pipe to the outlet of the sampling motor, and connect the other end to the sampling bottle or sample bottle in the laboratory.
If multiple bottles need to be divided, a distribution valve or distribution pipeline should be used to ensure that each sample bottle is independent.
Power connection
Connect the power cord of the sampling motor to the indoor host to ensure voltage matching (such as AC220V).
Connect the host power and check if the device indicator light is on normally.
2、 Parameter settings
Basic Parameters
Time setting: Set the system date and time to ensure accurate recording of sampling time.
Tube length setting: Enter the length of the sampling tube to calculate the water absorption time.
Sampling depth: Set the sampling depth according to actual needs (such as surface water and groundwater).
Sampling mode selection
Timed sampling: Collect water samples at fixed time intervals (such as hourly or daily), suitable for routine monitoring.
Flow rate proportional sampling: linked with the flow meter, dynamically adjust the sampling amount according to the sewage flow rate (such as sampling more as the flow rate increases), ensuring that the water sample represents the pollution load of the entire cycle.
Event triggered sampling: By connecting water quality sensors (such as COD and pH exceeding standards) or external signals (such as sewage valve opening), high-frequency sampling (such as once per minute) is automatically triggered when a pollution event occurs to capture instantaneous pollution peaks.
Excess sample retention: When the online monitoring instrument detects pollutants exceeding the standard, the mixed water sample is automatically retained for subsequent analysis.
Sampling volume and bottle separation settings
Set the sampling volume (e.g. 500mL) and the number of bottles (e.g. 12 bottles) to meet the requirements of multi parameter analysis.
Some devices support mixed sampling, which mixes samples from multiple time points or flow segments in proportion to form a representative comprehensive water sample.
3、 Operation process
Pre startup inspection
Confirm that the sample bottle is empty or emptied to avoid cross contamination.
Check if the pipeline is unobstructed, without blockage or leakage.
Start sampling task
Press the "Start/Stop" button and select the sampling program (such as timed sampling, flow rate proportional sampling) according to the on-screen prompts.
Enter the program number (such as 0-9), confirm that the parameters are correct, and press the "OK" button to start sampling.
Sampling process monitoring
Observe the operating status of the equipment to ensure that parameters such as sampling volume and time meet expectations.
If remote monitoring is required, it can be connected to the monitoring center through RS232 interface or wireless module (such as GPRS).
Sampling end processing
After the sampling is completed, the sampling time, traffic and other data will be automatically recorded and saved to the host or uploaded to the cloud.
Take out the sample bottle, label it (such as sampling time, location, parameters), and send it to the laboratory for analysis.
4、 Maintenance and Precautions
regular cleaning
After each sampling, rinse the sampling pipeline with pure water or on-site water to avoid cross contamination of residual water samples.
Regularly clean the sampling motor and pump body to prevent microbial growth or chemical precipitation blockage.
Component replacement
Peristaltic pump tubes are prone to wear and require regular inspection and replacement (such as every 3 months or adjusted according to usage frequency).
When the sampling bottle is damaged or contaminated, it should be replaced and disinfected in a timely manner.
Environmental Requirements
The equipment should be placed in a well ventilated area away from direct sunlight to prevent the compressor from overheating.
Avoid placing the device on a slope or vibrating table to ensure accurate sampling.
Fault handling
If there is any abnormality in the equipment (such as inaccurate sampling volume or pipeline blockage), immediately cut off the power and contact the manufacturer for repair.
Regularly backup sampling data to prevent loss.
