Principle and Application of Circulating Water Vacuum Pump
Date: 2021-06-12Read: 0

Working principle of circulating water vacuum pump: The pump body contains an appropriate amount of water as the working fluid. When the impeller rotates, water is thrown around by the impeller. Due to the centrifugal force, the water forms a closed ring of approximately equal thickness determined by the shape of the pump chamber. At this point, the vacuum pressure of this circular ring decreases, and as the impeller continues to rotate, it will draw in gas from the interface, sealing off the inlet. The inhaled gas is also compressed during the rotation of the impeller. When it is transported to be connected to the outlet, due to the high pressure of the compressed gas inside the pump, it will be discharged outside the pump, thus achieving the function of pumping and vacuuming. Principle and application of circulating water vacuum pump.
Circulating water vacuum pump is a new type of multi-purpose vacuum pump designed using circulating water as the working fluid and the principle of negative pressure generated by jet flow. It provides vacuum conditions for chemical experiments and can supply circulating cooling water to reaction devices.
The circulating water vacuum pump is widely used in evaporation, crystallization, condensation, pressure reduction filtration and other operations due to its small size, light weight, easy mobility, and can be placed on a workbench for easy operation and observation. The water tank cover is a movable installation that can be opened for easy water addition and maintenance. It is also commonly used in conjunction with rotary evaporators and is an ideal equipment for laboratories in colleges, pharmaceuticals, chemical engineering, food processing and other fields.
