The workflow of GCB linear filling machine
Date: 2024-11-15Read: 20
GCB linear filling machine is an automated equipment commonly used for filling liquid or slurry materials, widely used in industries such as food, beverage, chemical, and daily chemical. This equipment can improve production efficiency, ensure filling accuracy, reduce manual operations, and enhance the automation level of the production line. The following is a detailed explanation of the workflow of the GCB linear filling machine:
1. Material supply
Raw material preparation: Liquid or slurry materials are transported from storage tanks or buckets to the feeding system of the filling machine through a pipeline system.
Level detection: The filling machine is equipped with a level detection device to monitor the height of materials in the feeding system in real time, ensuring that the materials in the feeding system are sufficient. If there is a shortage of materials, the system will automatically sound an alarm or stop working.
2. Filling head positioning
Automatic alignment: At the start of the production line, the linear work platform of the filling machine (usually multiple filling heads arranged side by side) will automatically align with the container, ensuring that each filling head can accurately align with the opening of the bottle or container to be filled.
Synchronous control: Multiple filling heads usually use synchronous control to ensure that multiple containers are filled at the same time, ensuring production line efficiency.
3. Transport of bottles/containers
Conveyor belt system: Empty bottles (or containers) are transported to the filling position of the filling machine through an automatic conveyor belt. Bottles are usually automatically fed into the filling head through a conveyor system, ensuring that each bottle stays in the correct position below the filling head.
Bottle mouth positioning: During the filling process, the conveying system will automatically adjust the position of the bottle mouth to ensure close contact between the bottle mouth and the filling head, preventing leakage or overflow.
4. Filling operation
Start filling: The filling head begins to inject the material into the container. The filling machine adopts linear filling, which achieves precise liquid or slurry filling through pumping, piston, screw or other methods.
Piston filling: It uses the movement of the piston to suction and push materials for filling, suitable for viscous liquids or high viscosity slurry materials.
Flow meter control: Some GCB linear filling machines use flow meters or sensors to accurately control the filling amount, ensuring consistent material volume in each container.
Quantitative filling: The filling amount is adjustable and is usually adjusted for each container based on production needs and container specifications by setting up a control panel.
5. Stop filling and automatic cutting
Automatic stop: When the material in the container reaches the predetermined amount, the filling machine will automatically stop filling to prevent overfilling.
Cutting device: A cutting device is installed below each filling head to prevent material leakage or overflow and ensure the cleanliness of the filling process.
6. Subsequent processing of containers
Bottle cap/sealing: After filling is completed, the conveyor belt continues to send the filled container to downstream bottle caps or sealing equipment, which automatically caps or seals the container.
Testing and verification: Some filling lines are equipped with automated testing systems to inspect the weight, tightness of bottle caps, and appearance of the filled containers. Any unqualified containers will be automatically removed to ensure product quality.
7. Emptying and cleaning
Emptying system: After the filling cycle, the GCB linear filling machine will activate the emptying system to ensure that residual materials in the pipeline and filling head are emptied and prevent contamination.
Automatic cleaning system: Some GCB linear filling machines are equipped with automatic cleaning function (CIP system), which can clean the pipes and filling heads of the filling machine to ensure that there will be no cross contamination during the next production.
8. Production monitoring and control
PLC control system: GCB filling machines are usually equipped with a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) control system to achieve intelligent control of the equipment. Operators can adjust parameters, monitor production status, and view alarm information through the human-machine interface (HMI).
Data recording: The equipment can record the data of each batch of production, including production quantity, filling volume, machine status, etc., for easy tracking and management.
9. Equipment shutdown and maintenance
Automatic shutdown function: If there is a system malfunction or abnormality (such as insufficient material, stuck conveyor system, etc.), the GCB filling machine will automatically shut down and prompt the operator to handle it through the alarm system.
Regular maintenance: In order to ensure the long-term stable operation of the filling machine, the equipment needs to be regularly maintained and inspected, including cleaning the filling head, inspecting the conveyor belt system, checking electrical components, etc.
summary
The workflow of GCB linear filling machine is basically a fully automated process, from material supply, container conveying, precise filling, to automatic sealing, detection and cleaning, all of which are completed through automatic control. Its efficiency and precision make it a device in modern production lines.
