Environmental requirements for use

  • Sealing conditions: Close doors and windows, fresh air system, and ventilation equipment before testing, and maintain indoor sealing for 12-24 hours.

  • Environmental cleanliness: Avoid indoor dust, smoke, volatile gases, and do not place adsorption/purification equipment such as activated carbon and air purifiers.

  • Temperature and humidity range: The temperature should be controlled between 10-35 ℃, with a relative humidity of 30% -85%, to avoid extreme temperature and humidity affecting sensor accuracy.

  • Placement: 0.5-1.5 meters above the ground, away from walls, doors and windows, heating and air conditioning vents, and furniture, avoiding direct sunlight and vibration.

  • Operating Specifications

  1. Preparation in advance: Check the instrument's battery level and sensor status, calibrate the instrument (regularly according to the instructions, usually once a year).

  2. Distribution principle: One point should be distributed for single room testing, and additional points should be added for rooms with an area exceeding 50 square meters or multiple rooms. The points should be evenly distributed.

  3. Sampling operation: After turning on the instrument, set the testing duration (24-48 hours for regular testing and at least 4 hours for short-term testing), during which the instrument should not be moved or touched.

  4. Reading record: After the test is completed, read the radon concentration value (in Bq/m ³), record the test time, environmental temperature and humidity, and room information.

  5. Closing work: Shut down the instrument, restore indoor ventilation, organize test data, and retain the report.
