A nitrogen generator refers to a device that uses air as raw material and physically separates oxygen and nitrogen to obtain nitrogen gas. According to different classification methods, namely cryogenic air separation, molecular sieve air separation, and membrane air separation, what are the characteristics of a nitrogen generator?
1. Easy to use: The equipment has a compact structure, is installed as a whole, occupies a small area, does not require infrastructure investment, and has low investment. Nitrogen can be produced on-site by simply connecting to a power source.
2. Mechatronics design realizes automated operation: Imported PLC controls fully automatic operation, nitrogen flow rate, pressure and purity can be adjusted and continuously displayed, and unmanned operation can be achieved.
3. Convenient and fast nitrogen production: Advanced technology and * airflow distributor make the airflow distribution more uniform, efficiently utilizing carbon molecular sieves, and can provide qualified nitrogen in about 20 minutes.
4. More economical than other nitrogen supply methods: PSA process is a simple nitrogen production method that uses air as raw material and consumes only the electricity consumed by the air compressor. It has the advantages of low operating cost, low energy consumption, and high efficiency.
5. Widely applicable: protective gas for metal heat treatment processes, nitrogen purification for chemical industry production gas and various storage tanks and pipelines, production gas for rubber and plastic products, oxygen removal and preservation packaging for the food industry, purification and covering gas for the beverage industry, nitrogen filling and oxygen removal for packaging and containers in the pharmaceutical industry, protective gas for electronic components and semiconductor production processes in the electronics industry, etc. Its purity, flow rate, and pressure are stable and adjustable to meet the needs of different customers.
Regular inspection of nitrogen generator:
1. Check the temperature of the air compressor oil through the air compressor display screen. Generally, the temperature is below 95-100 ℃,
2. Check the oil level of the air compressor through the oil window in the compressor compartment. Generally, the oil level is above 30% in the window,
3. Regularly blow or clean the air compressor inlet filter and radiator (once a week).
4. The air buffer tank should discharge the condensed water in the tank at regular intervals, 1-2 times every 8 hours.
When the freeze dryer is turned on, touching the compressed air inlet and outlet of the freeze dryer, the inlet temperature is high, and the outlet temperature is low. It is normal to feel very cold when touched by hand.
When the freeze dryer is turned off again, its evaporation pressure gauge cannot be 0. If it is 0, it indicates that the freeze dryer has no refrigerant and needs to be repaired.
7. Regularly blow the radiator fins of the refrigerated dryer once a month
8. Check the automatic drain valve of the refrigerated dryer and whether the electronic drain can drain water at regular intervals in each shift; The drainage and sewage pipelines of the winter freeze dryer must not freeze.
9. Every shift (2-4 hours), drain and discharge the air buffer tank and the manual drain valve of the tertiary filter. Check the bottom drain valve of the air buffer tank every week for water discharge.
10. Observe the pressure of the air buffer tank, refrigerated dryer, air process tank, adsorption towers A and B, nitrogen process tank, and nitrogen storage tank within the normal range every shift (2-4 hours).
11. Maintenance and use in winter.
a. To turn on the heating in the room and keep it warm, the temperature inside the room should not be lower than 15 ℃ in winter.
b. Each shift should check whether the bottom drain valves of the air buffer tank, refrigerated dryer, and filter (4) are functioning properly to prevent ice blockage.
c. Each shift requires manual discharge of the air buffer tank, refrigerated dryer, and filter (4) bottom drain valves to ensure that there is no water accumulation.
d. Before and after shutting down or starting up, check whether the air buffer tank, refrigerated dryer, and filters (4) are working properly.
e. If the air buffer tank, refrigerated dryer, and filter need to be stopped for a long time, they need to be manually drained of stored water
