In the afternoon of September 3, 2024, the State Key Laboratory of Inorganic Synthesis and Preparation Chemistry of Jilin University - the Joint Laboratory of Adsorption and Separation Technology for Porous Materials of Beishide Instruments was successfully inaugurated in the State Key Laboratory of Inorganic Synthesis and Preparation Chemistry.

The State Key Laboratory of Inorganic Synthesis and Preparation Chemistry, guided by the major strategic needs of the country, has carried out core technology research, built a scientific system of inorganic synthesis and preparation based on condensed matter chemistry, atomic and molecular devices and molecular engineering, actively connected with the major strategic needs of the country, undertaken a number of national, provincial and ministerial research tasks, and made many major and breakthrough research achievements in the fields of molecular engineering of functional systems, hydrothermal and solvothermal synthesis chemistry, new microporous crystals and microporous crystal single crystals, low dimensional phosphate materials, solid strongly related materials, inorganic host guest assembly, and new catalytic materials.

Beishide Instrument and the State Key Laboratory of Inorganic Synthesis and Preparation Chemistry of Jilin University have maintained close cooperation in the field of adsorption technology. The smooth implementation of the work of the joint laboratory will also further strengthen the cooperation between the two sides in the research, technical exchange, method development, application research and other aspects of porous material adsorption and separation, and jointly promote the development of adsorption characterization technology.

Professor Yan Wenfu
School of Chemistry of Jilin University/Professor of the State Key Laboratory of Inorganic Synthesis and Preparation Chemistry, winner of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and member of the Chinese Chemical Society.
From 2008 to 2018, he served as a member and Secretary General of the Molecular Sieve Professional Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society. From 2018, he became the Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the Molecular Sieve Professional Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society. He also served as the Secretary General of the 15th (2009) and 22nd (2023) National Molecular Sieve Academic Conferences, the 21st International Molecular Sieve Academic Conference (2025), a member of the Youth Workers Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society from 2014 to 2022, a member of the Youth Editorial Committee of the 8th and 9th Journal of Inorganic Chemistry from 2019 to 2026, and a member of the Youth Editorial Committee of Structural Chemistry from 2020 to 2025.
From 2021 to 2026, served as a member of the first committee of the Molecular Identification and Separation Engineering Professional Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society, and from 2022 to 2027, served as a member of the first academic committee of the Key Laboratory of Radioactive Gas Purification Technology of China National Nuclear Corporation.
In 2012, he was awarded the title of "Expert with Outstanding Contributions" by Changchun City.
In 2010, he was awarded the Young Teacher Award by the Huo Yingdong Education Foundation for higher education institutions. In 2010, he was awarded the Second Prize for Science and Technology Progress in Jilin Province (as the first author). In 2014, he was awarded the Jilin Youth Science and Technology Award.

Subsequently, a special lecture and technical exchange on porous material adsorption characterization were successfully held in the Inorganic Supramolecular Building of Jilin University, helping researchers in the field of porous material adsorption characterization to gain a deeper understanding of the adsorption characterization technology of porous materials, master testing and application skills, and solve problems encountered in practical applications.
