[Introduction]

Clenbuterol Hydrochloride, commonly known as clenbuterol, is an artificially synthesized beta adrenergic stimulant that has the effect of dilating the bronchi. The toxic symptoms of consuming products containing residual clenbuterol hydrochloride (clenbuterol) include tachycardia, hypokalemia, hypophosphatemia, muscle tremors, dizziness, dry mouth, insomnia, and even paralysis. The country has explicitly prohibited the use of clenbuterol hydrochloride in animal husbandry. This test strip is used for rapid screening and detection of clenbuterol hydrochloride residues in pig and cow urine, meat, sauce meat, and their edible feed.

【 Detection Principle 】

This test strip uses the principle of competitive inhibition immunoassay technology to determine the concentration of clenbuterol hydrochloride in animal urine and tissues. The reagent contains a clenbuterol conjugate pre fixed on the membrane detection band (T) and an anti clenbuterol monoclonal antibody labeled with colloidal gold. During detection, the sample competes with the labeled antibody for binding to the conjugate. The detection limit is 5ng/ml (5ppb).

Sample Preparation

1. Urine: The sample must be collected using a clean, dry plastic urine cup or glass container that does not contain any preservatives. Can be directly detected. If there is turbidity, please centrifuge (3000rpm, 5 minutes) to obtain the supernatant. If the urine sample cannot be detected and sent for testing in a timely manner, it can be stored for 48 hours at 2-8 ℃. Long term storage requires freezing at -20 ℃, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

2. Meat: Fill approximately 4 grams of minced meat sample (minced meat) into a centrifuge tube (sauce pig beef with 2 ml of water or PBS), cover the tube tightly, and heat in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes; Suck the boiled solution into a 1.5ml centrifuge tube. If there is obvious yellow turbidity, please centrifuge (3000rpm, 5 minutes) and take the supernatant for detection. If testing beef, please aspirate the meat broth and centrifuge (3000rpm, 5min), and take the supernatant for testing.
