Portable trace dissolved oxygen analyzer SDW-OX-12BElectrochemical analysis instrument based on the principle of polarographic measurement. It can measure oxygen in gases and dissolved oxygen in aqueous solutions.Widely used in various industries such as nuclear power plants, power plants, thermal power plants, water treatment plants, industrial boilers, pharmaceuticals, medical institutions, petrochemicals, etc. across the country.

The measurement of oxygen concentration in gas (unit:%) is used for grain, fruit, medicinal material warehouses, tunnels, civil defense works, ships, as well as for measuring lung function in medicine, and for measuring oxygen concentration in the gas phase during boiler combustion in power plants, smelting, chemical industries, etc.

Dissolved oxygen (in mg/L) refers to the molecular oxygen dissolved in water or liquid phase, and its content is one of the important indicators for measuring the quality of water. The measurement of dissolved oxygen is a monitoring project for departments such as power generation, boilers, aquaculture, water source protection, water supply, and sewage treatment.

This oxygen analyzer adopts the principle of polarography and a coated oxygen electrode (also known asClark electrode). Molecular oxygen passes through the membrane from the liquid medium and enters the electrode electrolyte. Under a certain polarization voltage, oxygen is reduced, generating an electric current. The oxygen in the coated oxygen electrode undergoes the following reaction in neutral electrolyte:

Cathode O2+2H2O+4C=4OH

The current is proportional to the oxygen concentration, and the electrolysis current is amplified and calculated by an electronic unit to display the oxygen concentration.

During the oxygen reduction process, the electrode consumes oxygen, which must be continuously supplied by the medium. Therefore, when using instruments to measure oxygen concentration, it is necessary to continuously flow the medium to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the measurement.
