2. Regularly clean the pipette by using soapy water or 60% isopropanol, then rinse with distilled water and let it dry naturally.
3. Before high-temperature disinfection, ensure that the pipette can adapt to high temperatures.
4. Calibration can be performed by repeatedly weighing distilled water in an environment of 20-25 degrees Celsius.
5. Check for any leakage during use. The method is to suck up the liquid and suspend it vertically for a few seconds to see if the liquid level drops. If there is a leakage, the reasons can be roughly as follows:
a. Is the gun head compatible;
b. Is the spring piston functioning properly;
c. If it is a volatile liquid (as many organic solvents do), it may be a problem with saturated vapor pressure. You can first suck and release the liquid a few times, and then transfer it.
