Measurement of cooling holes on aircraft engine blades

The accurate position, direction, shape, and distribution of cooling holes in the compressor of an aircraft engine determine smooth flight and potential turbine failures. In the quality control process of cooling holes, it is necessary to ensure that the angle, size, and shape of the cooling holes (up to 500 in different forms) are consistent with the CAD data.

Vertical focus detection (VFP) technology enables fast, high-resolution, and non-contact measurement of borehole geometry, and allows for measurement of borehole depth, even up to 90 ° on the side.
