What are the advantages of a smoke and dust tester?
Date: 2025-09-17Read: 1
The smoke and dust tester has achieved a leap from basic measurement to intelligent analysis by integrating diversified principles such as traditional weight method, optical sensing, and nuclear radiation technology. Its advantages are not only reflected in the accuracy and efficiency of technology, but also in the practical value of providing reliable basis for environmental governance.
Advantages of smoke and dust tester:
1. High precision and reliability: The application of digital design and intelligent electronic systems reduces human interference, and the built-in microprocessor automatically adjusts and corrects test parameters to ensure data accuracy; Simultaneously supporting cross validation of multiple principles to enhance overall credibility.
2. Multi functional integration: Modern fully automatic models can achieve simultaneous detection of smoke and dust, such as capturing particulate matter in pipelines through pitot tube constant velocity sampling weight method, and quantitatively analyzing harmful gas components using constant potential electrolysis method, achieving one-stop monitoring.
3. Adapt to complex working conditions: For special scenarios such as high negative pressure in the flue or sampling holes located at the top of the horizontal level, the anti backflow design has been optimized to avoid errors caused by sample loss in the filter cartridge and ensure data validity under special conditions.
4. Convenience of operation: Portable devices are easy to deploy on site and can be used in conjunction with automated processes to reduce the difficulty of manual operation; Online instruments can provide real-time continuous monitoring to meet the needs of different scenarios.
Measurement steps of smoke and dust tester:
1. Preparation work
-Instrument inspection: Ensure that the smoke and dust direct reading instrument has sufficient power and that all components are connected properly.
-Pre treatment of filter cartridge: Number the filter cartridge with a pencil, bake it in an oven at 105-110 ℃ for 1 hour to remove moisture, remove it, and then cool it to room temperature in a dryer. Weigh it with a 0.1 μ g sensitive balance and store it in a dedicated container.
-Filling desiccant: Unscrew the bottom cover of the high-efficiency air-water separator, add about 3/4 volume of color changing silica gel (granular) with sufficient drying capacity, and then tighten the cover to ensure no air leakage.
2. Calibration operation: It is necessary to strictly follow the core process of "calibration → sampling → data correction", with a focus on the accuracy of constant velocity sampling and the effectiveness of sensor calibration.
3. On site sampling
-Safety measures: Due to the fact that smoke and dust sampling is mostly done at high altitudes and in harsh environments, sampling personnel must ensure human-machine safety; Wear heat-resistant gloves to prevent burns when sampling high-temperature flue gas.
-Sealing treatment: During the sampling process, the sampling hole should be promptly blocked to prevent harmful gases from spraying out or disturbing the airflow in the positive pressure flue.
-Principle of constant velocity sampling: The pitot tube constant velocity sampling weight method is used to collect particulate matter in the flue to ensure sample representativeness.
4. Data analysis and recording: Data processing can be carried out through built-in functions of the device (such as automatic weight reading or manual key control by the computer), and multiple working curves can be stored to improve analysis accuracy and precision.
