The LambdaCAN from ECM Corporation in the United States is a new generation of Lambda/AFR/O2 measurement module with a wide range and CAN interface configuration. It provides measurement range and accuracy, and all sensors are calibrated at the factory. The calibration data is stored in the storage chip of the connector. To provide * measurement accuracy, the sensor can be quickly recalibrated in ambient air, and the recalibrated data is also stored in the connector storage chip. The optional pressure compensation option is used to improve measurement accuracy under non theoretical mixture (λ ≠ 1) and non-standard atmospheric pressure conditions (P ≠ 101KPa). For example, increasing the pressure by 34KPa will result in an error of 0.58 (λ=3). Pressure compensation can eliminate this error and can be used for measuring intake oxygen. Pressure data can be used for CAN bus.
LambdaCAN is compatible with sensors such as BOSCH, NTK, DELPHI, etc. The fuel composition ratios of H: C, O: C, N: C, and H2 can be set. LambdaCAN outputs λ, AFR,% O2, pressure (optional), and other sensor parameters such as pump current, resistance, sensor aging factors, etc.
