TenaxTM-TAIt is a 2,6-diphenylfuran porous polymer resin widely used for the collection of volatile or semi volatile substances in gases, liquids, and solids. It can also be used for volatile substances in high humidity samples and as a filling material, and is used for many standard analytical methods by the US EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) and NIOSH. When used in conjunction with short-range thermal desorption systems, volatile compounds at ppb and ppt levels can be detected.
