Determination of Trace Cadmium Content in Plant Samples by PF6 Atomic Fluorescence Spectrometry
Date: 2020-12-22Read: 1

A method for determining cadmium content in plant samples using microwave digestion atomic fluorescence spectrometry has been established. Dissolve plant samples using microwave digestion instruments and determine the cadmium content in plant samples under optimal instrument and reaction conditions. When the cadmium concentration is 0.1-0.8 ng/mL, there is a significant linear relationship between fluorescence intensity and cadmium concentration, with r=0.99953. The detection limit of the method is 0.0018 ng/mL. Adding a certain concentration of cadmium to plant samples resulted in recovery rates ranging from 90.4% to 92.1% for three samples. The precision of the method is 1.64%. This method is simple, fast, with high sensitivity, accuracy, precision, and low detection limit, suitable for the determination of cadmium content in plant samples.
