TSDC (Thermally Stimulated Depolarization Current)
The testing system is an experimental device used to study the characteristics of dipole relaxation, space charge behavior, and trap energy level distribution in dielectric materials.
It analyzes the internal microstructure and electrical properties of materials by monitoring the depolarization current released during the heating process.
1、 Basic principle of TSDC thermal stimulation current testing system
1. Polarization stage: Place the sample under an external electric field and polarize it at a certain temperature to capture dipole orientation or charge carriers.
2. Freezing stage: Quickly cool down while maintaining the electric field, causing the polarization state to "freeze".
3. Depolarization stage: After removing the external electric field, the temperature rises at a constant rate, and the charges in the frozen dipoles or traps gradually release as the temperature increases,
Generate weak current - thermal stimulation depolarization current (TSDC).
4. Signal detection: Record the current temperature curve using an ammeter.
2、 The main components of TSDC thermal stimulation current testing system
Temperature control system: controls the rate of temperature rise/fall, with a temperature range of -190 ° C to+500 ° C.
High voltage polarized power supply: provides stable DC high voltage for polarizing samples.
Current measurement unit: Electrometer.
Sample fixture: Shielding interference, using parallel plate electrode structure.
Data acquisition and control system: synchronously records parameters such as temperature, current, time, etc. The software can achieve automatic testing and data analysis.
