Detailed explanation of key components of ferroelectric analyzer
Date: 2025-12-11Read: 0

1、 Basic Overview

A ferroelectric analyzer is a testing device used to measure the electrical characteristic parameters of electronic materials such as ferroelectricity, piezoelectricity, and pyroelectric.

2、 Working principle

A ferroelectric analyzer applies a controllable electric field to a material and measures its polarization response to obtain electrical performance parameters of the material. The workflow mainly includes steps such as electric field application, polarization measurement, polarization curve recording, impedance gain measurement, frequency selection, voltage control, and data processing.

3、 Main components

The basic components of a ferroelectric analyzer include the following:

Basic Unit and FE Standard Module: Provides basic testing functions and standard testing methods.

Thin film probe station: used for electrical testing of thin film samples.

High voltage amplifier: provides the high voltage output required for testing.

Sample testing box: used to place and secure the sample to be tested.

Laser interferometer (optional accessory).

4、 Test parameters and scope

Test temperature range: RT to 250 ℃, -185~550 ℃, supporting wider temperature range testing.

Test voltage range: 0V to 50kV.

Test frequency range: 1mHz to 1MHz.

5、 Testing function

The ferroelectric analyzer supports multiple testing modes, including:

Hysteresis loop testing: including dynamic, static, and initial hysteresis loops.

Pulse testing: measuring the response characteristics of materials under pulsed electric fields.

Leakage current test: Evaluate the insulation performance of materials.

Fatigue testing: Study the stability of materials under multiple electric field cycles.

Retention test: measures the ability to maintain polarization state.

Imprinting test: Evaluate the imprinting effect of polarized materials.

C-V test: analysis of capacitance voltage characteristics.

I-V testing: analysis of current voltage characteristics.

Piezoelectric performance testing: such as butterfly curve, small signal d33-V curve, etc.

Breakdown test: Breakdown strength test.

6、 Application Fields

Materials Science: Study the electrical properties of ferroelectric, piezoelectric, pyroelectric, and other materials.

Physics: Analyzing the electrical, magnetic, and thermal properties of materials.

Industrial field: used for performance testing and quality control of electronic ceramics, ferroelectric sensors, actuators, and memory products.
