The constant temperature and humidity test bench requires regular maintenance and upkeep
Date: 2025-08-19Read: 2
Constant temperature and humidity test benchIt is a laboratory equipment used to simulate the performance of objects under different environmental conditions, widely used in product quality testing and research in industries such as electronics, chemistry, food, and medicine. Its core function is to reliably test samples under constant temperature and humidity conditions through a precise control system.
The test bench mainly consists of a box, a refrigeration system, a heating system, a humidification system, an air circulation system, and a control system. The box is made of high-quality materials and has good sealing and insulation properties; Refrigeration systems often use the reverse Carnot cycle principle to achieve cooling through components such as compressors, condensers, and evaporators; The heating system generates heat through electric heating tubes or wires; The humidification system adopts a surface escape method, where water molecules are added to the air, resulting in a large and uniform humidification surface; The air circulation system evenly blows heat or cold to every corner of the box through fans and air ducts, ensuring even distribution of insulation and humidity.
Constant temperature and humidity test benchRegular maintenance:
1. Weekly maintenance
Clean the air filter: Remove the air filter on the side or back of the device, blow off the dust with compressed air (or rinse with clean water and air dry, do not use detergent), and avoid clogging the filter to prevent insufficient air flow and decreased temperature and humidity control accuracy.
Check the door seal: Check whether the box door seal is intact, whether there is deformation, damage, or foreign matter adhesion. If necessary, wipe it with a neutral cleaner to maintain the sealing performance (poor sealing can lead to increased energy consumption and temperature and humidity fluctuations).
2. Monthly maintenance
Check the refrigeration system: observe whether the compressor runs smoothly and whether there is any abnormal noise; If there is a lot of dust accumulation in the condenser (external unit or built-in heat sink), clean it with compressed air or a soft bristled brush to ensure good heat dissipation (poor heat dissipation can lead to a decrease in refrigeration efficiency and compressor overload).
Calibration of temperature and humidity deviation: Use a certified temperature and humidity recorder (such as thermocouple, hygrometer), place measuring points at different positions inside the equipment, run to the set temperature and humidity (such as high temperature, low temperature, high humidity points), record the deviation value. If it exceeds the allowable range (usually ± 2 ℃, ± 3% RH), it needs to be calibrated through the equipment control panel or professional personnel.
Check water pipes and drainage: If the equipment has humidification function (such as steam humidification), check whether the inlet pipe is unobstructed, whether the drainage pipe is blocked or leaking, and regularly rinse the humidifier tray or evaporating dish with clean water to avoid the growth of scale and mold (scale can affect humidification efficiency, and mold may contaminate the test sample).
3. Quarterly maintenance
Lubrication and fastening: Apply a small amount of specialized lubricating oil (avoid using corrosive grease) to the equipment door hinges and moving parts (such as drawer slides); Check whether the internal wiring terminals and screws are loose to prevent poor contact from causing faults.
Cleaning humidification/dehumidification components:
Humidifier tank (electrode type or electric heating type): If tap water is used, it should be regularly (according to the hardness of the water quality) disassembled or replaced to remove scale (can be soaked in citric acid solution and rinsed).
Dehumidification evaporator: If there is abnormal frosting or oil stains on the surface, contact professionals to clean it with specialized cleaning agents to avoid affecting the dehumidification effect.
Test safety protection function: Simulate abnormal situations such as overheating and overpressure, check whether the equipment can automatically alarm and stop (such as overheating protectors and leakage protectors), and ensure that the safety devices are effective.
