The 752 UV visible spectrophotometer is an instrument used for quantitative analysis of the content of substances in the UV and visible light regions, widely used in chemical experiments, industrial testing, and laboratory analysis. Used to measure the absorbance of samples in the ultraviolet and visible light ranges for qualitative and quantitative analysis.
This instrument determines the concentration or composition of a substance by measuring the absorption or transmittance of light at different wavelengths. For example, determining component content in inspections, or analyzing water quality, air pollutants, etc. in environmental monitoring.
Instrument Features
Optical system: usually uses a single beam, self aligning grating monochromator, equipped with 1200/mm high-performance UV specific gratings, which can provide good dispersion effect and spectral resolution.
Light source: Halogen lamps and deuterium lamps are generally used as light sources. Halogen lamps can cover the visible light area, while deuterium lamps are suitable for the ultraviolet area. The light source switching point can be set arbitrarily within the range of 325-355nm to improve the accuracy of sample testing.
Data processing and output: Some models are equipped with a 7-inch color touch screen with a user-friendly interface. Standard RS232 interface, some models also come with USB interface, which can be connected to a computer or printer for convenient data transmission and printing.
Operation precautions
Before starting up: Remove the desiccant from the sample room, check if the power supply voltage meets the requirements, and ensure that the instrument is well grounded.
After startup: During the self check process of the instrument, it is forbidden to open the sample chamber cover. After the self check is completed, set parameters such as wavelength range and measurement mode according to the measurement requirements.
Sample measurement: The solution in the colorimetric dish should be 2/3-4/5 of the dish height, and should not be overfilled to prevent liquid overflow. During the measurement, the colorimetric dish should be kept clean, and liquid droplets on the pool wall should be wiped dry with mirror paper. Do not pinch the transparent surface with your hands. When measuring ultraviolet wavelength, a quartz colorimetric dish should be used.
Measurement completed: Quickly open the cassette lid, turn off the power switch, remove the colorimetric dish, place the desiccant bag containing silicone into the cassette, and close the lid. Pour the solution from the colorimetric dish into a beaker, wash it with distilled water, and then put it back into the colorimetric dish box.
