Laser aluminum water level gauge is a high-precision device that uses laser ranging technology to achieve non-contact measurement of aluminum water level. Its core principle is to calculate the laser round-trip time through phase comparison method or time-domain reflection method, combined with millimeter level measurement accuracy, 30 meter range, visible laser aiming and multi interface output characteristics. It can be stably applied in harsh industrial environments such as high temperature and strong reflection.
Laser aluminum water level gauges are widely used in the aluminum processing industry, such as furnace level monitoring and flow channel level control. They can achieve real-time data output and closed-loop control systems, ensuring production safety and process accuracy.
By emitting visible laser beams and receiving reflected signals, the liquid level height is calculated using optical triangulation or phase comparison principles, supporting non-contact measurement and suitable for high temperature and corrosive environments.
working principle
Phase comparison method: The laser sensor emits visible laser beams of different frequencies and receives scattered laser light returning from the aluminum water surface. By comparing the phase delay between the received signal and the reference signal, and combining it with the wavelength of the modulated light, the distance corresponding to the round-trip time of the laser is calculated to determine the liquid level height. This method can achieve millimeter level accuracy and is suitable for high-precision measurement scenarios.
Time domain reflection method: Some devices use laser reflection devices that float with the liquid level to emit laser light onto the reflection surface and capture the reflected light. The laser propagation time is calculated to determine the liquid level height. This method is suitable for measuring objects with high temperature and high viscosity, but additional reflective devices need to be configured.
Regular maintenance and cleaning
There is a lot of dust in the aluminum factory, and it is necessary to regularly (such as once a week) clean the laser emission/reception window of the sensor (wipe with a dust-free cloth dipped in alcohol to avoid scratching the window). Some models can be connected to compressed air blowing (pressure 0.3-0.5MPa) to automatically remove window dust.
