The enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) plate cover should be cleaned and disinfected after use
Date: 2025-08-22Read: 18

The adsorption capacity of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) plate proteins is divided into three levels:

Low adhesion: preferentially binds to molecules containing significant hydrophobic regions (lipids, lipoproteins, large proteins);
Medium adsorption capacity: binding to hydrophilic/hydrophobic biomolecules (medium to large proteins, immunoglobulins, albumin);
High adsorption capacity: preferentially binds to biomolecules with hydrophilic/hydrophobic properties (small to large proteins, immunoglobulins, albumin LPS, proteins);
Using high-purity materials and precision grinding tools for injection molding, with excellent uniformity. Detachable design, convenient for disassembly and assembly. Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) plates with different adsorption capacities can be selected based on protein molecular weight and hydrophobicity: high adsorption ELISA plates have higher adsorption capacity for antibodies or antigens with molecular weight greater than 50kDa; Medium adsorption enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) plate with low non-specific adsorption and lower background. Choose different colors based on the detection method, including transparent colorimetric detection, white luminescent detection, and black fluorescent detection.
Material classification and processing methods:
Silicone soft cover:
Cleaning steps:
Soak in warm water with neutral detergent and use a soft bristled brush to remove residue.
Ultrasonic cleaning (40kHz, 10 minutes) can improve cleanliness.
Disinfection plan:
Wipe or soak in 70% ethanol for 30 minutes.
High pressure steam sterilization (121 ℃, 15 minutes) is suitable for high-temperature resistant silicone covers.
Plastic hard cover:
Cleaning: Soak in 1% NaOH solution and rinse with running water to avoid corrosion by organic solvents.
Disinfection: Soak in 0.5% peracetic acid solution for 20 minutes, or irradiate with ultraviolet light for 30 minutes.
Pressure sensitive sealing film:
Disposable, no need for repeated processing, discard directly.
