In recent years, the number of emergencies caused by leaks, explosions, and fires in China has been increasing year by year, leading to increasingly serious environmental pollution problems. In 2005, an explosion accident occurred in the aniline workshop of Jilin Double Benzene Plant, and the leaked benzene chemicals and wastewater generated during the treatment process almost all flowed into the Songhua River, causing serious pollution to the Songhua River; In 2008, an explosion accident occurred in a chemical company in Guangxi, and the leaked methanol and wastewater from the treatment process mostly flowed into the Longjiang River Basin, which had a serious impact on the water quality downstream of the Longjiang River; The explosion incident at the Tianjin Chemical Logistics Reserve Base in 2015 caused huge casualties, especially the chemical dust generated after the explosion, which posed a serious threat to the surrounding residents; The forest fire accident in Liangshan, Sichuan in 2019 resulted in 30 deaths, and the wastewater and waste generated during the fire and extinguishing process had varying degrees of impact on the environment. Fire accidents not only affect social stability and economic development, but also threaten the safety of people's lives and property. As the main force of fire rescue, the tasks faced on site are very heavy and arduous. Quickly and accurately detecting the nature and content of toxic and harmful gases in the air, taking timely remedial measures for effective disposal, canReduce personnel and property losses.

The "14th Five Year Plan for the Construction of Emergency Rescue Forces" also mentions the need to enhance the technical support capabilities of rescue sites. Build emergency rescue survey teams and rescue technical support teams for natural disasters and production safety accidents, strengthen professional capabilities such as on-site data acquisition, real-time monitoring during disasters, and post disaster assessment and analysis for major disasters and accidents, undertake tasks such as dynamic monitoring of disaster situations, on-site emergency survey, and rescue technical support for major and catastrophic disasters and accidents, and enhance technical support capabilities for rescue sites. To this end, Beijing Boside Technology Co., Ltd. has launched an emergency monitoring plan for fire and other emergency accidents, aiming to provide technical support for on-site rescue, post disaster disposal, and accident investigation.

The emergency monitoring plan of Boside adopts a portable gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) to quickly define the safety range, accurately determine pollutants, evaluate the concentration level on site, and at the same time, combined with a multi-functional aerial vehicle equipped with a GC-MS to quickly monitor the VOCs concentration at the accident site, dynamically display the pollution situation in real time, and provide timely and accurate data support for rescue work.

1、 Portable gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) instrument

The Hapline P8800 portable gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) is used for the detection, identification, and quantitative analysis of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), industrial toxic compounds (TICs), industrial toxic materials (TIMs), odorous substances, and semi volatile organic compounds (SVOCs) in various complex matrices such as gas, solid, and liquid in emergency site environments. It is suitable for complex environments and can quickly and accurately perform qualitative and quantitative analysis.

Features:

  • Quickly define the safety zone and assess the concentration level on site

By using membrane injection technology, samples can be directly analyzed by mass spectrometry, with rapid response and defined safety range, ensuring accurate and efficient monitoring while ensuring the safety of life and property.

  • Testing while walking, dynamic traceability, fast qualitative analysis

Using a non mechanical pump, it is not afraid of vibration and bumps, and can be operated by a single person carrying it. It can be tested while walking, dynamically traced, and quickly determined.

  • Rapid and accurate qualitative and quantitative analysis

The equipment adopts the classic quadrupole mass spectrometry from the laboratory; Relying on a powerful international standard NIST spectral library, accurately characterize unknown pollutants on site.

  • Highly adaptable

Waterproof, dustproof, earthquake resistant, low temperature resistant, capable of completing monitoring work under harsh conditions.

2、 A mobile vehicle equipped with a multifunctional air mass spectrometry system

The M8800 multifunctional gas chromatography-mass spectrometer adopts classic quadrupole mass spectrometry detection technology, with dual working modes of direct injection rapid detection by mass spectrometry and full analysis detection by GC-MS, integrating navigation and online functions. Through precise traceability and online monitoring, it can quickly monitor the VOCs concentration at the accident site and dynamically display the pollution situation in real time.

Features:

  • high sensitivity

Single mass spectrometry mode, second level response, real-time dynamic display of pollution situation, and if necessary, ion screening can be carried out using SIM mode for targeted navigation, with higher sensitivity.

  • Strong environmental adaptability

Abandoning high-speed rotating components and adopting non mechanical vacuum pumps to solve problems such as inability to operate and detect in multi-dimensional and large amplitude vibrations, it is capable of handling complex environmental navigation work at accident sites.

  • Accurate monitoring results

Equipped with dual working modes of navigation mode and GC-MS fixed-point analysis mode, it combines timeliness and accuracy; The detection principle is consistent with laboratory methods, and the qualitative and quantitative results are more reliable.

  • Flexible monitoring methods

The device is compact in size and can quickly switch between large and household vehicles. It can penetrate complex terrains and environments, providing more comprehensive information for rescue sites.
