From July 3rd to July 6th, 2022, Videometer successfully participated in the IASIM Spectral Imaging Conference held in Esbjerg, Denmark.

IASIM is a bi annual conference that brings together many participants from the spectral imaging industry to discuss and contribute to the development of the industry. The conference includes a three-day seminar, hosted by keynote speakers and experts in the field of spectral imaging.

This year, Videometer attended as a platinum sponsor and showcased two flagship instruments in the exhibition area: VideometerLab and VideometerLite. Company executive Jens Michael Carstensen and computer vision engineer Kristian Ryder Thomsen attended the event and received visitors in the Videometer exhibition area.

On Sunday, July 3rd from 14:00 to 15:20, a seminar titled "LED Spectral Imaging within Reach" was held in the company exhibition area, showcasing VideometerLab's technological capabilities and various application cases in different scenarios.

In addition to the seminar, from 13:00 to 14:00 on July 5th, Videometer also held a seminar on "Innovative Spectral Imaging in the Food Industry" based on the research results of the EU funded DitECT project on the detection of aflatoxins in corn kernels. In addition to the DitECT project, Videometer also introduced the development of the TraceMyFish project, which is an EU funded project focused on strengthening safety and quality control within the seafood industry.
