Inner MongoliaYidong Group Chemical Plant has an annual production capacity ofAn enterprise that produces 600000 tons of coking and 100000 tons of methanol, among which is medium temperature tar with a water content of less than 6%, which is a qualified product. The final process of the product is the use of two turbine centrifuges to separate the water content from the medium temperature tar. The original design was to set up a laboratory sampling port at the outlet of the turbine centrifuge for manual sampling and analysis of water content to adjust the centrifuge. After running for several months, it was found that the lag in adjusting the turbine centrifuge after manual laboratory analysis was particularly severe, making it difficult for the product to achieve overall qualification. After the company's decision, two online water analyzers were selected and installed in the factory instrument workshop. After screening domestic and foreign water analyzer products, the FBD5MD-MS1204 online water analysis transmitter from Beijing Beidouxing Industrial Chemistry Research Institute was finally selected. The instrument is based on high-frequency attenuation water detection technology, and the sensor itself has good sensitivity to moisture. The product has designed a compensation calibration method -3D calibration table, which makes its sensor more practical and accurate. The instrument is designed with four channels, with the purpose of classifying and storing different samples for calibration. When using, the corresponding calibration table can be selected. The instrument has a small volume, is easy to install, has convenient calibration settings, and is easy to operate. The instrument also provides a 4-20mA standard signal output, which is sent to the DCS system for automatic adjustment of the turbine centrifuge through PID regulation. Not only did the product reach 100.0% qualification, but it also greatly reduced the labor intensity of operators and laboratory technicians. After two years of use, it has been running normally and measuring accurately. The instrument is calibrated every six months without any maintenance, which greatly reduces the labor intensity of workshop instrument maintenance personnel.
