How to achieve fault self diagnosis of vertical high-speed freezing centrifuge?
Date: 2025-10-16Read: 0
Vertical high-speed freezing centrifugeBy incorporating multi-dimensional sensors, preset fault logic algorithms, and real-time system monitoring, dynamic monitoring of key component status and operating parameters can be achieved. Once an abnormality occurs, the fault type can be automatically identified and warnings can be issued without the need for manual troubleshooting.
1、 Core hardware: Sensors capture abnormal signals in real-time
This is the foundation of fault self diagnosis, which deploys dedicated sensors in key areas to collect real-time operational data and provide a basis for subsequent judgment.
1. Speed and vibration sensors
Install high-precision speed sensors on the rotor to monitor speed deviation in real-time. When the speed exceeds the set range (such as overspeed or the speed cannot reach the target value), an alarm is immediately triggered. At the same time, vibration sensors at the body and rotor will capture abnormal vibration frequencies. If the vibration value exceeds a threshold (such as severe vibration caused by rotor imbalance), the system will automatically slow down or shut down, and determine it as a "rotor imbalance" fault.
2. Temperature and pressure sensors
Install temperature sensors in refrigeration systems (such as evaporators and condensers) to monitor temperature changes in the refrigeration circuit. If the refrigeration efficiency decreases (such as the temperature cannot drop to the set value), the system will determine whether it is a "refrigerant leak" or a "compressor failure" based on the operating status of the compressor. In addition, the pressure sensor at the door lock can detect the sealing status of the cabin door. If the cabin door is not tightly closed, it will directly prompt "door lock failure" and prohibit starting.
3. Current and voltage sensors
In the power supply circuit of core components such as the main motor and refrigeration compressor, there are built-in current and voltage sensors. When the current overload (such as motor stalling) or voltage fluctuation exceeds the normal range, the system will quickly cut off the power supply and diagnose it as a "motor fault" or "power supply abnormality" to avoid component burnout.
2、 Software Algorithm: Building Fault Diagnosis Logic
The data collected by sensors will be transmitted to the control system, and analyzed through preset algorithm models to accurately locate the type of fault.
1. Threshold comparison algorithm
The system pre-set the normal range of each parameter (such as speed ± 50rpm, temperature ± 1 ℃, vibration value ≤ 0.5g), and compares the sensor data with the threshold in real time. Once the data exceeds the range, immediately mark it as abnormal and display the fault name directly based on the corresponding component parameters (such as "abnormal speed sensor" or "high refrigeration temperature").
2. Association analysis algorithm
When multiple parameters are abnormal at the same time, the system will investigate the root cause through correlation logic. For example, if the refrigeration temperature is too high and the compressor current is 0, it will be prioritized as "compressor not started" instead of simply "temperature sensor failure"; If there is "abnormal vibration" and "uneven rotor speed", it will indicate "rotor imbalance" or "rotor installation deviation" to avoid misjudgment.
3. Historical data retrospective
Vertical high-speed freezing centrifugeThe system will store past operational data and fault records, and compare historical fault patterns when new anomalies occur. For example, if a certain device experienced a refrigeration failure due to a refrigerant leak, and the same temperature change curve occurs again, the fault diagnosis result will be prioritized to improve the efficiency of judgment.

3、 Warning and feedback: Ensure timely handling of faults
After diagnosing the fault, the system will issue warnings through multiple methods and provide processing guidance to reduce maintenance difficulty.
1. Multi level warning mechanism
Minor abnormalities (such as slight rotor imbalance) will be indicated by flashing indicator lights and buzzing; Serious faults (such as motor overload and overspeed) will immediately shut down, and red fault codes (such as "E01 Motor Overload" and "E05 Refrigeration System Fault") will pop up on the display screen. At the same time, the equipment will be locked to prevent secondary damage.
2. Fault information output
The device supports exporting fault reports through interfaces such as USB and Ethernet, including the time of fault occurrence, abnormal parameter curves, possible causes, and troubleshooting steps. Some models can also be connected to remote monitoring systems to directly push fault information to maintenance personnel's mobile phones or computers for remote diagnosis.
Vertical high-speed freezing centrifugeThe self diagnosis of faults is essentially a collaborative process of "hardware perception+software analysis+intelligent feedback", which can significantly reduce manual troubleshooting time and lower the risk of equipment downtime. If necessary, I can help you organize a comparison table of common fault codes and troubleshooting methods, covering common fault types of mainstream brands such as PerkinElmer and Beckman, to facilitate quick problem identification.
