Recently, our AZR-300 composite root fluorescence monitoring system completed installation training at the Institute of Plateau Research, Chinese Academy of Forestry. This system includes multiple Australian techniques and uses micro root window technology for root image acquisition and analysis.

Micro root window, as a commonly used tool for understanding root formation and function, has undergone several technological changes and innovations. The AZR-300 root fluorescence monitoring system developed by Aozuo not only has a "camera mode" for image acquisition, but also can be configured with a "scanning mode" for fast 360 degree image acquisition. The "camera mode" can observe the subtle structure of root hairs and display real-time images of the root system outside the measuring tube; The 'scanning mode' can quickly obtain large-sized root images.

Application direction of AZR-300:

Root morphology

Root biomass

Fine root turnover

Interaction between root system and rhizosphere microorganisms

Root symbiote

Fluorescent protein excitation detection

System features:

Integrated design of camera and scanning

The camera mode can observe plant roots, mycorrhizae, soil animals, etc

Multiple light sources to choose from: UV light is used to distinguish between live and dead roots, and fluorescent light sources are used to identify different fluorescent protein signals
