1. Voltage display (digital meter head)

Function: Real time display of current high voltage output value, unit kV, resolution0.1 kV.

Application: Observe whether the voltage rises at the set rate during the boosting process; Read the breakdown voltage value at the moment of breakdown; Confirm that the voltage has returned to zero after the experiment is completed.

2. Switch lock (key knob)

Function: Mechanical-Electrical interlocking: When the key is not turned to the "on" position, the high-voltage circuit cannot be powered on.

Application: Remove the key during maintenance, sample replacement, or idle to prevent unauthorized personnel from starting high voltage; Laboratory safety management requirementsWhen using a 'double lock' system, the key can be entrusted to a second person for safekeeping.

3. Current display (digital meter head)

Function: Real time display of high-voltage circuit leakage/Breakdown current, unitmA, resolution0.01 mA.

Application: Determine whether the sample has corona or critical discharge during the boosting stage; Record the highest current at the moment of breakdown; Monitor whether the leakage current exceeds the standard during the withstand voltage stage.

4. Discharge alarm (red sound and light indication)

Function: When the sample breaks down or the current exceeds the limit, the instrument automatically cuts off the high voltage and sounds an audible and visual alarm at the same time.

Application: Remind the operator that the experiment has ended or is abnormal, and they need to wait for automatic response/The electrode can only be contacted after manual discharge.

5. Manual discharge(redColor button)

Function: Forcefully connect the built-in discharge rod circuit to quickly discharge the residual charge at the high voltage end.

Application: Used when automatic discharge is not complete after breakdown or when emergency manual discharge is required; The cabin door can only be opened after the voltmeter returns to zero and the alarm stops.

6. Fan switch (toggle or button)

Function: Control the on/off of the exhaust fan at the top of the test chamber.

Application: When conducting high-temperature oil bath or thermal breakdown tests, first turn on the fan to exhaust the oil fumes; Long term continuous testing to reduce the concentration of ozone and oil and gas in the cabin and protect the insulation oil.

7. Control area (touch screen)/Button box)

8. Lighting switch (with light button)

9. Door position indicator (green)/redLED

Function: Indicate whether the cabin door is closed properly. green=The door has been pressed closed, and high pressure is allowed to start; red=The door is not tightly closed, and the high-voltage circuit is interlocked.

Application: To prevent light leakage from door gaps or safety switches from not being tightly pressedFake door closure; If the light is always red, check the door hook, sealing strip or proximity switch.

10. Zero point indication (green)LED

12. High pressure stop (red mushroom head button)

Function: Cut off the high voltage output at any time and immediately start the discharge circuit, equivalent toEmergency stop.

Application: Take photos when abnormal smoking, oil boiling, or cabin door opening is detected in the sample; It can also be used to manually suspend the boost during the experiment.

Usage Summary (Operating Procedure)

1. Close door → key on → set parameters → turn on fan → lighting → start with high voltage;

2. After breakdown, the instrument automatically 'stops high voltage'+discharge+Alarm ", wait for the voltage to return to zero and the zero point light to turn on;

3. Confirm no residual charge by manual discharge → open the door and change the sample → cycle.
