The constant temperature and heating technology of the magnetic stirrer is its core function, which combines electromagnetic effects with precision temperature control systems to achieve efficient mixing of liquids and precise temperature control. The following provides a deep analysis from three aspects: technical principles, system composition, and application advantages:
1、 Technical principle: synergistic effect of electromagnetic drive and thermal effect
The magnetic stirrer utilizes the characteristics of magnetic field repulsion and attraction, and generates a rotating magnetic field through the electromagnetic coil inside the base to drive the magnetic stirrer (such as neodymium iron boron magnet wrapped in polytetrafluoroethylene) in the container to make circular motion, achieving uniform stirring of liquids or solid-liquid mixtures. Its heating function is based on electromagnetic heating effect. The resistance heating wire embedded in the chassis generates heat through current and conducts it to the bottom of the container through a stainless steel or ceramic coated working disc. Some models use eddy current heating technology to generate induced current directly in the working disc through an alternating magnetic field, achieving a thermal efficiency improvement of over 30%.
2、 Temperature control system: dual guarantee of high precision and stability
The temperature control system consists of a closed-loop loop consisting of temperature sensors, PID controllers, and heating elements. The PT100 or NTC temperature sensor monitors the liquid temperature in real-time with an error of less than ± 0.1 ℃. After the data is fed back to the PID controller, dynamic balance is achieved by adjusting the heating power. For example, in the 37 ℃ enzyme activity assay experiment, the system can maintain temperature fluctuations below 0.5 ℃, ensuring experimental reproducibility of over 98%. In terms of safety design, the equipment is equipped with automatic power-off protection for overheating (stopping immediately when the panel temperature exceeds the set value of 5 ℃), anti scald protective cover, and waste heat warning system to prevent operators from getting burned.
3、 Application advantages: Unified efficiency, flexibility, and security
The magnetic stirrer supports stepless speed regulation from 0-2500rpm, which can adapt to the stirring needs from low viscosity solutions to high viscosity polymers. The dynamic power adjustment function enables the device to maintain stable operation when processing different media, such as in the homogenization treatment of sugar solution at 60 ℃, the sugar dissolution efficiency is increased by 40% through stirring at 800rpm. Its fully enclosed structure avoids the contamination risk of traditional mechanical stirring, especially suitable for sterile environments such as cell culture. In addition, the device supports multi link mixing point expansion and water bath/oil bath adaptation, further expanding the application scenarios.
