In the fields of automotive, aerospace, electronics, and scientific research, the walk-in high and low temperature test chamber serves as a platform for simulating harsh environments. It can accommodate large equipment or bulk samples for high temperature, low temperature, and temperature cycling testing, and is the core equipment for product reliability verification. Its large space (usually 0.5m3 to tens of cubic meters) and complex systems require high operational stability. It is crucial to implement scientific regular maintenance and upkeep to ensure precise temperature control and prolong equipment life for the walk-in high and low temperature test chamber.


1、 Refrigeration system: escort of cold source
Check the operation status of the compressor every month, auscultate for any abnormal noise, and observe whether the exhaust pressure and current are normal. Clean the dust accumulation on the condenser fins every quarter (air-cooled type) or inspect the cooling tower/water pump (water-cooled type) to ensure efficient heat dissipation. Every year, professional personnel test the refrigerant pressure and promptly replenish and add liquid if any leaks are found.
2、 Heating and air duct system: smooth heat flow
Regularly (every 3 months) check whether the heating tube is oxidized or broken, and clean the surface dust. Check if the circulating fan runs smoothly, with no deformation or dust accumulation on the blades. Clean the inner wall of the air duct to prevent dust accumulation from affecting the uniformity of airflow, and ensure that the temperature distribution inside the box meets standards (such as IEC60068).
3、 Sealing system: insulation "defense line"
Check the sealing strip of the gate every month for aging, cracking, or deformation, and wipe and maintain it with a neutral cleaning agent to prevent hot and cold leaks. Test whether the door lock is tightly closed, adjust the hinge or replace the sealing strip if necessary. Check the sealing of threading holes, observation windows, and other parts.
4、 Humidification and dehumidification system (optional)
For wet and hot type test chambers, clean the humidifier scale every quarter and replace it with purified or deionized water to prevent scaling from affecting humidification efficiency. Check if the dehumidification solenoid valve and drying filter are working properly, and if the drainage pipeline is unobstructed.
5、 Control system and sensors
Regularly calibrate the temperature sensor (usually sent to a third-party calibration every 6-12 months) to ensure measurement accuracy. Check if the PLC and touch screen are running normally and if the data records are complete. Update the control program to the latest version and fix potential vulnerabilities.
6、 Box and safety device
Clean the stainless steel surface of the inner container to avoid corrosive residues. Check if safety devices such as over temperature protection, overload protection, and phase sequence protection are effective. Test the emergency stop button function.
