Selection of Low Temperature Test Chamber
Date: 2017-04-10Read: 0

With the increasingly severe damage to the environment and climate, various research institutions, universities, and new product manufacturing and testing research and development cannot do without low-temperature test chambers. The low-temperature test chamber is suitable for testing and determining the parameters and performance of electrical, electronic, and other products and materials after undergoing low-temperature or constant temperature tests. In order to select suitable equipment, the following points should be considered when making a purchase:

1. Select the volume size. Small is not enough, large is wasteful. The selection of volume is calculated based on the size and quantity of the tested sample placed. In addition to the size of the inner box, it is also necessary to check the size of the outer box, whether the equipment is to be placed in the workshop or laboratory, on which floor, whether there is an elevator, and whether the equipment can be smoothly placed in the required location.

2. In addition to the standard low-temperature test, the low-temperature test chamber also has functions such as wet heat, alternating current, and constant current. This should be carefully considered before selection, or determined based on the test conditions that the tested sample needs to meet. However, the price difference is not significant, and it is recommended that users consider all of them and purchase a fully functional one to facilitate the upgrade testing of the tested sample in the future.

3. Pay attention to the deviation of uniformity, fluctuation, and temperature humidity. Of course, the smaller the deviation, the better. For this technical indicator, the national standard has clear regulations: fluctuation/uniformity: ℃/± 2 ℃, humidity deviation:+2, -3% R.H.

4. The standard heating and cooling rates are: heating rate: 1.0-3.0 ℃/min, cooling rate: 0.7-1.0 ℃/min. If the requirements of the tested sample are high and a faster temperature change rate is needed, specific requirements can be made to the manufacturer to improve the equipment.

5. Don't be fooled by the multitude of manufacturers in the market. Choose a brand commonly used in the same industry, or go to the manufacturer's site to consider it. Seeing is believing, and also consider the manufacturer's after-sales service.

Considering the above content, it is beneficial for consumers to choose a cost-effective and suitable low-temperature testing chamber.
