On May 22, 2019, Egway sent professional engineers to provide flaw detection training services for a group enterprise in Chaoyang, Liaoning.

The group was founded in 1996 and is a modern and open private enterprise that integrates mining, selection, metallurgy, processing, science, industry, trade, and external development. It is a relatively large non-ferrous metal enterprise in China and has formed a comprehensive production capacity of 10000 tons of molybdenum iron and 10000 tons of sponge titanium per year, with an annual sales revenue of 2 billion yuan.

At the beginning of the year, the company sought a solution from our company regarding whether there were defects such as air bubbles, pores, and incomplete welding in the waterproof flange welds The waterproof flange produced by the company is used in the later production of reactors in pressure vessels. If there are defects in the waterproof flange, it may cause potential defects in the finished product, leading to accidents during subsequent use and causing incalculable losses. The company hopes to meet the demand for internal non-destructive testing of products and ensure product quality by establishing a comprehensive testing process and purchasing non-destructive testing equipment. Meitai engineers immediately developed a testing plan, and after internal discussions and procedural approval, the user ultimately purchased our ultrasonic flaw detector. Engineer Egway went to the site to provide flaw detection training for customers.

At the customer site, the technical engineer from Egway first popularized the relevant principles of ultrasonic flaw detectors for the customer, and carried out on-site operation and flaw detection for the customer's workpieces. The thickness of the customer's steel plate is generally between 60-100mm, which can be detected using a conventional probe. The sound path and workpiece thickness can be adjusted, and the instrument can be calibrated on the actual workpiece. According to the national * standard, a flaw detection curve is made. During the detection process, the handheld probe slides steadily and uniformly around the weld seam on the workpiece surface, and the echo is observed on the screen with a height higher than the national * flaw detection standard curve. After analysis, it is confirmed that this is a defect. Engineers conducted inspections on multiple workpieces on site and found defects in some of them. This ultrasonic flaw detector technology exchange training solved the problem for the customer and taught them how to perform flaw detection on this type of workpiece. The customer stated that using ultrasonic equipment for testing can also check the welder's work seriousness, evaluate the welding skills in turn, and give reasonable ratings to the workers to enhance their work enthusiasm and further improve the quality of the product. The customer highly praised the products and services of Egway.

Egway is committed to providing professional on-site services, flaw detection solutions, and products to customers. With integrity and customer first, we adhere to innovation, build our own brand, enhance our core competitiveness, and create a better tomorrow for national non-destructive testing.
